Chroma Cycle

In a digital realm, you race to survive in order to be the one who takes down the corruptive force that lies in layers deep electron glow.  It starts off a slow burn, but steadily ramps up in difficulty.  You have one life vs forty stages to be the one who stops the ultimate corruptor!

Supports controller.  2 way and 4 way directional options available.  You can either chose to just turn left/right or push the direction on the pad or keyboard that you wish to go.  Button A or Space Bar selects menu items and uses your carried powerup if you have one!   Keys are WASD and Arrow Keys.

Power Ups Include:

• Delete Own Walls - Remove your own colored light walls.
• Delete All Walls - Removed all light walls currently in the arena
• Speed Up - Speeds up only the user of the power up.
• Slow All - Slows all other cycles but the one who invokes it.

AI when they run into power ups will use them immediately. 

Boss:  At stage 40, if you reach it; You will need to surround the 4 catalyst objects in light walls.  Beware that the boss cycle breaks these walls and does not follow the rules of the arena.

This project started out as a digital art commission.  Originally. it was a display piece that played by itself to convey the feeling of old arcade games and that classic retro feeling.  The only thing I could not replicate was the feeling of being in a darkly lit arcade with the buzzing of other machines around.

After the commission was completed, we then made the choice to make an alternative version of the piece that was playable.  Two months later, the game is in a state that could be considered near complete enough to play.
